Introduction: Name and Location : My hometown village is BHAKKAR located in [PUNJAB], [PAKISTAN] .it’s a place that holds a unique charm. Historical Background : The District Bhakkar was created in 1982 after slicing the area from District Mianwali of which it was a part as Sub Division. The Bhakkar district with a population of 1.43 million is situated on the eastern side of the River Indus. Most of the District area consists of sandy land Cultural Aspects: Language : The primary language spoken in Bhakkar is Saraiki, although Punjabi and Urdu are also widely understood and used. Attire : Traditional clothing for men includes shalwar kameez, often accompanied by a turban (pagri), while women typically wear shalwar kameez with a dupatta.
